Founder Bio

The Jewellery Edit was founded by Nottingham-based Lizz Summers. After years of battling an overstuffed wardrobe, chaotic finances and too many “where are my keys?” mornings, Lizz was diagnosed with ADHD. That moment sparked a shift: a desire to cut through the noise and build more clarity and calm by having radically less stuff.

The Jewellery Edit grew out of that journey. It’s her answer to the daily overwhelm of getting dressed — a curated capsule of timeless, 18k gold-plated pieces designed to make feeling put-together simple, even on the most chaotic mornings.

For so many women, the missing piece of the style puzzle is jewellery. While wardrobes have shifted towards fewer, better-quality clothes, jewellery often lags behind;  either cheap fast-fashion that doesn’t last, or avoiding gold altogether for fear it won’t wear well. Lizz wanted to change that by curating pieces women can love and rely on for years, without breaking the bank.

Rooted in minimalism and shaped by her own experience with ADHD, she built The Jewellery Edit around clarity, ease and confidence; fewer choices, better pieces, and jewellery that quietly works hard in real life. The result? A collection that helps women swap overwhelm for effortless chic, and feel stylish, calm and put-together every day.
